Membership in Institute for Standardization of Montenegro is voluntary whereby the Institute for Standardization of Montenegro is constantly open for admission of all interested parties.
Any business organization, any other legal entity, or any entrepreneur set up under regulations in force in the Republic of Montenegro, as well as any natural person that is a resident of Montenegro may be a member of the Institute.
The Institute members are entitled to pay membership fees to the Institute, being calculated annually by special decision adopted by the Institute’s Managing Board
For the membership in the Institute for Standardization of Montenegro, an interested party should provide original written Membership Application Form composed of the Statement on the Accession and Acceptance of Rights and Obligations resulting from the membership in the Institute for Standardization of Montenegro.
The Institute members are entitled to take part in the Institute’s operating and management in accordance with the Decree on Establishing the Institute for Standardization of Montenegro, Statute of the Institute for Standardization and Guide as per the membership in the Institute. The Institute members are also entitled to material eligibilities regarding services performed by the Institute for Standardization of Montenegro.
Guide on the membership in the Institute for Standardization of Montenegro, adopted by Managing Board upon the proposal of the Director, governs the issues regarding members category, affiliation, members register the rights and obligations of the members, cessation of the membership, membership inaction and membership legal adherence.
